Mykonos Finale

Well goodbye, seeya later, arriva derci Mykonos While its been fun, its also been disappointing...... This island really is a 'young peoples' island! Last night we walked back from the cafe we had dinner at and bloody hell, we were nearly run over by mopeds, quad bikes, cars & buses! Streets are narrow, so that means its every man for themselves to try and get from A to B without been killed! So we leave the island with mixed feelings, pretty pictures and sore eyes from all the eye candy! Back to Athena for 2 shorts nights, then Spain and Madrid here we come......fingers crossed there's WiFi at the apartment we're staying! PnD xx

Mykonos 2013

Mykonos! What can i say......aaaaargh!!!! Full of bloody young people on mopeds, quad-bikes & hire cars on narrow roads / lanes with NO footpaths!!! You gotta watch yourself cos let me tell you, get out of their way OR ELSE!!! But on the good side the island is still pretty and very picturesque (see below) the boys and i have been eating and drinking (not cheap here!!) ourselves silly! Derek is driving our hire car with white knuckles and we as passengers are hangin' on with white knuckles...LOL, they're just as crazy here as in Athens and Santorini, must be in their driving lesson classes here!! Its been hot and very windy, i've never seen Jeff with such messed up hair so many times... So, enjoy the pics sorry to hear its freezing back home, but we're off to the beach again so i can tan up more and come back looking like an old pair of brown leather shoes.... PnD xx

Athens 2013

Hi there followers!
Sorry about the delay, WiFi at the hotel in Athens was really bad!! So here we are and as per usual Athens is hot, busy and graffitied!!!Have gone to nearly every ruin in this HUGE city, Derek  has been amazed, dined out every night (& under a full moon last night)....Being here with Jeff, Robin & Leigh has been so much fun, poor Leigh though that soft milky skin of his BURNS like butter in the hot sun...
Have walked all round the PLAKA and gardens, eaten ourselves to obesity.....PLEASE no comments about my big belly!!! (note to self....serious exercising on my return!!!) Here are some pics...
