Santorini Day 2 & 3

Sorry Followers it's taken awhile to post, the WiFi at the hotel was playing up we have since then left this lovely Greek Island and now are on the main land. Left the island on a Blue Star Island ferry at 1.30am and landed in at Pireaus (the port of Athens) the hustle and bustle of Athens was as its always been, crowded, noisy and in true Greek fashion pushing and shoving!! Ah! But that's Greece (Athens) At the underground station i was approached unbeknownst to me by a female beggar...stoopid me, she was asking change to buy a ticket, but no, she was asking everyone i just hadn't see her do it, Derek had! Hey-Ho!!! Got to the airport from there unharmed, whilst there finally touched base with my cousin Bobbi where we organised to meet in his town of Giannista (40min drive from the airport), after out flight to Thessaloniki. To my delight the bugga was there at the airport waiting. So here we are.......we've spent our first night with my cousin's Bobbi his son's George and Alexandro (wife away at the seaside with their daughter)his brother Theodore drinking and eating on the plaka of Giannista....... Here are some last photo's of Santorini (oh we hired a quad-bike for the last 2 days, wow!! what an experience!!)

Santorini 2013

Have arrived safe & sound, got picked up by the hotel valet which was very schmick, and the hotel is really nice (adequate for those in the know!!) Checked in SHOWERED...yay! then hit the cobbled streets of Thira, the main town here on the island. Derek is loving it, though he's doing his best, in Derek's own fashioned gardening show..."oh wow look at that plant, look what they can grow, oh look at all the Gum Trees"....yarda, yarda, yarda that's own personal ABC Gardening Australia Host!! LOL Dined at a restaurant, where J & R dined last time here Mama's House,  still delish and quite cheap! 38euro (2 course & a bottle of some "paint stripper" red wine...)

Day 1

Well here we are, talk about starting a holiday the wrong way!!!
My Travel Agent wrote my itinerary incorrectly, even the E-Ticket said departure @ 11.40....Who looks at their boarding pass on the board.....apparently we should have BECAUSE the flight was leaving at 10.40.....we had to run to the plane, (yes even Mr Worgan had to run!!) Singapore Airline staff weren't too please let me tell youse!!!
Got on, the cabin crew were nice and then we left....arrived in Singa's safe and sound....6 Singapore Slings later, Hansel & Gretel, Identity Theft, BB Theory, Land of Oz.....
Now feeding our faces, and looking around Changi AP till our next flight with the corrected time...
Next stop ZURICH.....watch this space..
