Northern Greece / Thessaloniki / Panagitsa

Its been a week+ that we've been gone and already we're in total holiday mode! Ahhhh Greece....i forgot about their afternoon siestas and how "when in Rome...." So D and I have been snoozing every afternoon up here in mum & dad's home town, Panagitsa. The family have been overwhelming and my cousin Zina has been stuffing us with home cooked meals (see attached!) hence the afternoon naps.... Cousins' from both sides of my parenting have been gracious, its hard to fathom for a 'lil Aussie guy who grew up with only 1 Aunty & Uncle & 2 cousins for all his life to meet soooo many here! It's also funny that they (cousins')all want us to speak English so they can improve their language and i want to speak Greek so i can improve mine, its a clash of the cultures! Derek is picking up some of the basic talk, but they love it when he talks to then in English, he's also loving this part of the holiday, the mountains here, the greenery, and loves my cousins' Cherry Farm, wanted to go out and help pick, me all i'd do is eat then...
